downgrade virtualbox from archlinuxfr[SOLVED]

i upgraded virtualbox today from virtualbox 2.2.2-1 to virtualbox 2.2.4-1 from the archlinuxfr repo.
This version is crashing constantly on my system.
I tried to downgrade from the /var/cache/pacman/pkg/ dir with the "pacman -U virtualbox_bin-2.2.2-1.pkg.tar.bz2" command but no luck, it keeps telling me:

loading package data...
error: 'virtualbox_bin-2.2.2-1.pkg.tar.bz2': cannot open package file

How can i downgrade this package from my cache? roll
if i try to bunzip2 the package first it tells me

bunzip2: virtualbox_bin-2.2.2-1.pkg.tar.bz2 is not a bzip2 file.

so that won't be the solution.
can somebody help me with this?

Thanks smile

Re: downgrade virtualbox from archlinuxfr[SOLVED]

I might be missing something - but are the packages not all '.tar.gz'??
Me thinks you may have a wrong name (seeing it is also not recognized as a bzip).

Try a 'tar tvzf virtualbox_bin-2.2.2-1.pkg.tar.bz2' ...
