Xfce and entrance

I'v just installed arch for the first time and have tried a number of desktop managers. Entrance works fine with some of them, ex. kde4, but it does not work with xfce. When I select xfce session in the entrance login screen, and then try to login with my user, the screen goes black and blinks a few times (kinda looks like it at least is trying to start up xfce). Xfce works fine with fine with startxfce from terminal.

Anybody who can help me?

Re: Xfce and entrance

aren't there any logfiles for entrance oder maybe output to terminal?
Slim for example has a logfile at /var/log/slim.log

Re: Xfce and entrance

Couldn't find the log file, if there is one... But I took the easy way out, and I am now using Slim instead smile

Re: Xfce and entrance

i first thought: "hey, why shouldn't i suggest him slim? mh, maybe he just wants to use entrance, so don't say a word and try to help him" ^^
but choosing slim is a good decision, even that it didn't "fix" the problem itself.
