Re: SATA install

I do not wish to install any operating system on this hd, i have no experience with sata at all. i only wish to get the hd working to the point where i can move all my mp3's on to this harddrive, i have the newest arch install, with everything up to date. I do not know what to do to test to see if my sata hd is set-up correctly. if anyone here know what i should be doing to get it to work, PLEASE let me know, it would help me out alot!  smile

Re: SATA install

What do you see when you type:
"ls /dev/sd*"
