Problem with Mplayer-snapshot

Hi all!

The task is to create one preview file with a few snapshots for movie. I am trying to use mplayer-snapshot programm for this.
In the AUR there is package named mplayer-snapshot,  but only for x86. I have to avoid it by editing makefile. Installation passed without error messages.

But programm do not work at all:

$mplayer-snapshot -r 3 -c 4 -p /tmp video.avi

and nothing happen.. nothing in output - just stalled.

Does anybody install mplayer-snaphot on x86_64? Or may be there is another programm for doing such things... like mplayer-snapshot, but more easy to install.

Regards, Ajunta.

Re: Problem with Mplayer-snapshot

VLC Media Player can take snapshots of video. I'm pretty sure the package name is just 'vlc' - and I know it runs on arch64.
