[SOLVED] Gnome-how can i make transparent menus?(Apps, Places, System)

its very easy to make the panel transparent but i dont know how to make the menus transparent (Applications, Places and System). also i want to make transparent the right click menu! plz tell me what i have to do!

I think it can be done by turning on the visual effects (compiz) and tweaking the settings.

i have the compiz installed in my system but i dont know the settings. what i have to configure?

Add this line in opacity settings

Tooltip | Menu | PopupMenu | DropdownMenu

and set opacity to 70% (it's your choice) ....
