Is the codecs package still available?

http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mplayer

At the wiki link it says to install the codecs package but I can't seem to find it in the repositories, is it still available? If not, what's the replacement package?

Thanks.

Re: Is the codecs package still available?

Almost everything in the codecs package has been replaced by a native solution. The last few remaining things are inching their way into FFmpeg's subversion tree right now. From there they'll end up in every other project very quickly. In the case of Mplayer, it's the same the code base. Is there something in particular that you need that isn't working?
