[SOLVED] Dual Monitors in Xfce

I have an nvidia card with dual monitors and Xfce. In Ubuntu with Xfce I could have two panels, one for each monitor, and each panel would show in the task list ONLY apps on that monitor.

Don't have that now. POssible to get that? smile

Re: [SOLVED] Dual Monitors in Xfce

that probably means you were running dual X sessions in Ubuntu, you will have to disable twinview to achieve that. see the nvidia-settings utility.

Re: [SOLVED] Dual Monitors in Xfce

Hmm, could be. I tried that now (and restarted X) but it doesnt' help. I still don't get that option in my task list. I have a GeForce 8400 GS card.

I also don't think I had dual X in Ubuntu.

Also with dual X the mouse remains in the other monitor, meaning when I go from 1 to 2, an 'extra' mouse cursor stays, motionless, at the point where I left monitor 1. Odd.

Thanks.

hmm ok, maybe there is another way for that... you did try just adding a new panel with it's own tasklist widget i guess..?
