[SOLVED] Eliminate Multiple Versions of jEdit

To "Eliminate Multiple Versions of jEdit" there is the same advice provided in all these places:

http://www.jedit.org/users-guide/cli-us … #id2496905
http://wiki.beyondunreal.com/Legacy:JEdit#Discussion
http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p= … ostcount=3

which is to add -reuseview to the Java exec command.

But when I do this on my /usr/bin/jedit then jEdit won't launch at all.

Anybody know why?
