Kernel Panic after Grub2 install

I installed Grub2 today. But I got a kernel panic saying "INIT not found". I tried telling putting init=/sbin/init in the grub.cfg but it didn't work, I messed with the boot lines and redid mkinitcpio, still nothing works.

/ is on sda3
/boot is on sda1

Personally, I'd rather be back in Hobbiton.

Re: Kernel Panic after Grub2 install

Sounds like you forgot to remove the /boot prefix from your menu entries perhaps?

Separate /boot users need to do that.

Re: Kernel Panic after Grub2 install

I fixed it. I put the wrong sda* in the root path. Silly me. I need help getting a background image though. The wiki's not helping.
