[Amarok2] where are the applets after update?

I recently updated Arch Linux and switched from KDEmod Amarok package to the one in the "extra" repository. I noticed that there are no applets at all - instead of them I see a KDE wallpaper and nothing more. The "Add applet" button does not work - it shows only an "X" and an arrow that crashes the program. Has anyone experienced similar problems? The version details:

* Amarok 2.1
* KDEmod 4.2.3
* The recent package versions (from today)
* x86_64

I made a similar switch two weeks ago on my laptop and everything is fine there. It uses very similar system settings. Google seems not to have anything about this problem.

Edit: I noticed that on laptop, I have Amarok 2.0.96, and on desktop - 2.1 version. So this is a bug definietly.

Same problem here, running Xfce at x86_64.

KDEmod x86_64  is 4.2.3, while amarok in extra was built against kde 4.2.4
