[Solved]how to launch matlab2009a in xfce4

Hi all

I can launch matlab from the console with ./matlab
but when i created a launcher in xfce4
it doesnt work
i have been careful to select "launch in terminal" option when creating the cusmized launcher
since i remember in previous verion of matlab and in the gnome enviroment this is important and this works

what should i do ?

You have to add an argument to it, "matlab -desktop"

Similarly theres the command line version of matlab, matlab -nodesktop -nosplash, which is quite useful.
