Hello,
I was running banshee with some music in there but in the second I needed to shut down my computer. I just clicked 'System -> Shutdown' in my Gnome menu and it was ok until I come back to my music. I am using banshee with gstreamer0.10. The problem is that Alsa works fine but any gstreamer based applications does not work. For example banshee is giving me output in console:
ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:1008:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave
ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:1008:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave

While I am trying to get it to work and when I am trying to run music it is giving me:

I tried to reinstall gstreamer0.10 with any plugins but it does not work, I even deleted my /home/mazur/ configs but still the same problem. Any ideas?

Nevermind, it works now. How? I have no idea, I just installed Amarok to play some music because it is using phonon and after reboot my gstreamer0.10 works again.

Just a guess: maybe you are not in group audio ?

I am.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I was using kernel26 - 2.6.30-4 from TESTING and this is why gstreamer was not working. I am now on kernel26 - 2.6.29 and it works properly! Is that a bug from ArchLinux or from Kernel.org?

Version of 'alsa-utils' in extra is 1.0-20 so it should works, isn't it? The problem is that it sometimes work and sometimes not, this is why I came back to 2.6.29.
