Sorry for this very newbie post but.. I can't understand why the card reader of my eee pc isn't recognise by lsusb.. I never use it before, just now that i've bought a digital camera. I put the sd card into and i thought that i can see the card reader device from lsusb list. I search around about this issue, but i only find notice about some problem when you have the camera switched off. I try to start the camera (using cheese software) and try again if the card reader appear from the list, but nothing changed! May i've to modprobe some module, but i don't know which!
I tried with different sd card also, but i've got the same result.. Anyone have a similar issue? Tnx

Hi.
I have a 901go too.
On lsmod I read "usb_storage" module loaded. Could it be the right one?
I'm using an 8GB SD-card as secondary storage.
I use gnome-volume-manager and hal. They mount it automatically on /media/disk.
My lsusb say:
[root@e3pc luca]# lsusb

But in rc.conf have you disabled the MOD_AUTOLOAD ?

Ops.. I didn't mark as "solved" this thread.. There was a little bug (maybe in the bios). When i made bios update i didnt reset to "optimized default option".. I found a thread on other site that suggest to reset the bios parameter and then.. The usb card works!
