[prob] what did i forget to install in gnome?!

hello all, i am trying the to migrate from kde to gnome...
where is the terminal [console]?
music player?

The terminal is called gnome-terminal, I think it's located in the system subfolder on the menu? (edit: or applications)

There are a few options for gnome music player. Rhythmbox, Banshee, and exaile all come to mind

You'll probably want gnome-terminal, eog (Eye of Gnome), evince, evolution, gconf-editor, gedit, either Rhythmbox or Banshee, and either Totem or mplayer.
