[SOLVED] Compiz / Emerald problem

Hi! I just did an install of Arch 2009.2 and everything works great! I'm a fan of gnome, I want both performance+eyecandy. So i installed compiz fusion and everything is installed including ccsm and emerald. However, even after enabling the desktop cube,opacity,etc. nothing is activating! It's just the plain metacity with no desktop effects! How can I enable them? I have my nvidia card configured! The transparency in terminal and in gnome docks work well too.

Did you run the command compiz-fusion?

check if its actually running

metacity can handle transparency for the terminal too.

I had to add "fusion-icon" in my auto start script and its done. Thnx
