Howdy,
I prefer "ddclient" over "ez-ipupdate". Here's my PKGBUILD if you would rather use this dyn.dns client.
pkgname=ddclient
pkgver=3.6.3
pkgrel=1
pkgdesc="Client used to update dynamic DNS entries for Dynamic DNS hosts."
url="http://ddclient.sourceforge.net/"
depends=('perl')
source=(http://unc.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/$pkgname/$pkgname.tar.gz)
md5sums=('dfa5ff6967cb854de804d4e7b9633fdc')
build() {
prefix=usr
sbindir=sbin
datadir=share
# Compare downloaded package version against $pkgver
if test ! -d $startdir/src/$pkgname-$pkgver; then
echo "PKGBUILD: ERROR: $pkgname=$pkgver: Check source directory and update $pkgver."
exit
fi
pkgrdir=$startdir/pkg/$prefix
mkdir -p $pkgrdir/{$sbindir,$datadir}
mkdir -p $pkgrdir/$datadir/$pkgname/configs
# Copy ddclient, README files, and sample configs.
cd $startdir/src/$pkgname-$pkgver
cp $pkgname $pkgrdir/$sbindir
cp README* $pkgrdir/$datadir/$pkgname
cp sample* $pkgrdir/$datadir/$pkgname/configs
}
* Read the README in '/usr/share/ddclient/' folder for basic usage/setup. Look in the '/usr/share/ddclient/configs' directory for sample configs.
