connection time out - failed to commit transaction

I'm trying to install eclipse and I get the message in the main title for all the various packages. In the shell i wrote:

yaourt -S eclipse

PS: how I can copy the text in the shell to the clipboard? CTRL+C doesn't work, but i think this should be normal. I've the desktop environment e17.

Re: connection time out - failed to commit transaction

have you done yaourt -Sy recently? (try yaourt -Sy eclipse). assuming your pacman mirror you're using is fine, I can't think of anything else...

about copying from the shell, it depends which terminal you're using. Some terminals (like gnome-terminal) let you right click and select copy, but otherwise you can also just highlight what you want to copy and paste by doing middle click.

Yay smile
With xterm, just highlight whatever you want to copy, and to paste it somewhere do middle click
