external HDD mount problem

Hi!
So, i have compiled my kernel and then updated the whole system (i don't know which fault it is then exactly ...). And from then on my external HDD won't mount (before it has automatically and now even manually doesn't work). When I click on icon of my HDD on desktop it just give me an error (i don't know which, i'll post it later) and then i need to start dbus manually (and before I can start it with command sudo /etc/rc.d/dbus start i have to delete file /var/run/dbus.pid). After that, when i click on the icon it gives me the error:

The name org.freedesktop.Hal was not provided by any .service files

So, i try to start hal manually but it doesn't work.

Any help would be appreciated.
