[Solved] Amd64 only one core reading

I'm installing arch on another computer...

I have a duel core processor and only one is showing up...

I had debian and centos installed on this box prior with out any issues.

Any ideas?

Re: [Solved] Amd64 only one core reading

I played with cpu scaling and ended up fixing the issue.

adding the following to /etc/rc.conf

MODULES=(... powernow-k8 cpufreq_ondemand...)

DAEMONS=(...cpufreq...)

after a reboot showed...

My CPU is:

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+

I can't seem to find the right cpufreq module to load.

Any ideas? Thanks

Don't hijack other people's topics dwende... Normally the modules the OP specified should fix it for you.
