My desktop have disappeared !

Today i have updated my system and when i have restarted it and i dont have desktop!

This is very strange.. conky and my notescreenlet are running evrything else is not! keystrokes dont do anything... so i cant do shit...

Im using gnome (no gdm, console login) nvidia driver was updated, and i checked my etc/rc.conf and dont use any of the daemons described in the arch linux news, so i didn t change anything... How do i solve this??

Compiz is working!! when my mouse goes to the edges it shows my desktop and stuff...

forget it im installing seven... i need my desktop working since i need to study, ill probably give arch another try when i have finished my exams..
