hey, I just saw an amarok script that automatically fills the playlist with suggested songs from last.fm... is there a mpd client somewhere that does something kind of like that? it would be great if all the client did was that... no gui or anything.

Ario worked; Thanks.
gmpc would have probably worked too (and I like its interface better than ario), but I wasn't able to build gmpc-dynamic-playlist-hg. Thanks anyway.

This purely cli python script runs in the background, monitors the mpd playlist, and then adds songs from your local music collection when certain conditions are met (e.g. playlist length) relying on the "similar artists" suggestions from last.fm.
I've been using it for the past two weeks and it's pretty nice. I've discovered so much music from my local collection. I installed the daily export of the trunk. It's more up-to-date than the stable branch (0.2), and the author mentions that he tries to maintain this usable.

Can you provide the error log? I will fix it if it is broken.
