HAL(thunar-volman) not automatically mounting cd

Hi, everyone. Today I realized that HAL doesn't automatically mount my cd. It looks like it tries to, but then it gives me an error dialog:
Method "Mount" with signature "ssas" on interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" doesn't exist.
I've tried the instructions on the HAL ArchWiki, but nothing works. I tried on my other computer (with arch), which also didn't work. I've also tried multiple cd's. Logging in X as root also doesn't make a difference. However, mounting with sudo mount -t iso9660 /dev/sr0 /media/cd works fine.

I've been able to get my cd's automounted in the past (after following instructions in the wiki and/or forums), and I'm wondering if anyone could help me on what might be wrong? Thanks smile

EDIT:
I tried on my other arch computer (3rd) and found out that it did not work either!

EDIT:
I think I should have mentioned - I'm using thunar-volman for automounting.

EDIT(again):
I have a feeling this might fit better in the workstation user forums...
