hi there!
I'm a newbie in arch world.. I used to be a ubuntu and gentoo user (I abandoned this one for a time because I had some trouble and didn't have much time to solve stuff.. but guess what.. HOLIDAYS:D)
now I'm trying to setup Arch in a 1000h... the instalation was easy (specially compared to gentoo),
but now I can't get wifi to work.
With the stock kernel I have ethernet.. with the kernel-eee I dont have neither wireless or ethernet...
I've searched a lot and tryed a lot of things but I can't get it to work..
can somebody give me some steps?
(what modules to load.. what packages to install.. what kernel to use.. etc)
I would love to get this working..:\
best regards
(sorry for my bad english:X)
edit:
by the way.. in kernel-eee, when I do ifconfig it only shows me 'lo', while in the stock it shows also 'eth0'
edit2:
