How do I "route jack to VLC"?

Hi Folks,

Everytime I want to play a song I go into qjackctl and manually connect vlc to system in order to play a song.
The sound is fine, just as you can imagine a pain to play a tune.

What's a patch bay?.
Can I somehow link up vlc and Jack audio server so that jack starts with the pc and vlc connects automatic to jack when I play audio?.

My sound is alsa.

Sadly only VLC had this problem, but Amarok seems to connect and stay connected to jack audio.
I notice it 's actually xine that connects from Amarok to Jack.
