Hi all:
A few months ago I started learning (from time to time) this language, and I'm really enjoying doing so. Indeed, I'm writting obmenugen in this language.
I'm really curious about this.
See you

I mean here, into the Arch community.
OpenMW looks like a good project anyway, thanks for the link.

Ok, then I got it wrong
I will try D as soon as it works on x86_64. Dmd works only in i686 currently

D sounds very interesting, but I first want to learn to code in C/C++ before I do.

I love D's concept.
It's a shame it hasn't caught moment, but it's a hard thing to do for a new "system" language.
I even wrote a game in it:

IMHO, I wouldn't stray too far from "mainstream" languages if you want to create a long term projects. One reason for this is that there will be more contributors.
Just my 2 cents.

Well that is one reason why we could make D more mainstream, if we get more people to contribute code in D.

D is a much neater C++, let's say. I learned it first, to be able to use C and C++, as I could not understand clearly their existing documentation. I don't use it anymore for the lack of 3rd-party resources.
