A suggestion for wiki

I see a lot of people asking "What's the best 'x' application?" (file manager, windows manager etc. more then 1 thread for 'x' app) and it would be nice if it there would be an option for users to rate the 'x' app  . So at the "Common apps" would be a list of apps each with a community score.

Re: A suggestion for wiki

Yeah I know, but I don't think it's really hard to implement and imo I think it would be helpful...

Hehe he's suggesting that it's a wiki because it means you can easily implement your own suggestion.  Anyone can, and is welcome to, update/create wiki articles.

Re: A suggestion for wiki

I wasn't referring to me ... that's why I posted ... I thought maybe others could do it, if they like the idea and if it's easy for them.
Do I have to do everything? tongue

No worries...just create a wiki account, log in, click "View Source" on any article to get an idea how things are formatted and refer to this great tutorial:

Re: A suggestion for wiki

I believe, rather than just 'editing' the wiki, the OP was talking about having a 'vote for this' button which tallies votes so far. I haven't really come across any generic wiki engines that allow that, though.
