No usb sound in 64 bit kernel "30"(solved)

Usual entry of ..snd-usb-audio.. in rc.conf.

System boots to KDE and attempts to use usb selection in kde multimedia do not produce any usb sound.

Use usb dongle with analog converter for stereo sound.

Was working in kernel "29".

Not aware of any new requirements for usb sound.
