manage session/restart programs

hi,

i am using openbox with 9 workspaces. I wonder what i would have to do, to let openbox remember on which workspace which program was and restart it automatically on the right spot, as soon as i start openbox again.

i was trying stuff like lxsession-lite (which i didnt understand) or xfce4-session, which started the whole xfce4 desktop interface
