system suddenly during uptime slow

hey,

so few days ago my system started to do weird things, all of a sudden the mouse moves slow, like there is a memleak or something, allthough plenty of ram (about 2gigs) is left, cpu usage is low, so this can't depend on the hardware, didn't check this on windows though, but a restart solves the problem, but this just happens too often, today i think it is like this 4 times..

to describe this a little bit better, its like the system is taking a break every milli second or so.. like some interrupt bug or something..

i'm using kdemod4, system is up to date according to pacman, any hints are appreciated!

unloading usb modules/wlan module/other modules (:P) and restarting various demons didn't solve the problem neither, nor do i think its depending on kde, restarting kdm, loggin out and in again is no solution as well.. my pc also is not overheating, so temperature is just fine on every device.

thanks in advanced

Re: system suddenly during uptime slow

you can debug memleak with valgrind! Is there anything in log files, like syslog ?

Re: system suddenly during uptime slow

if it is a memleak, my ram would be full, but there is plenty of ram left, so memleak drops out i guess, also not finding anything usefull in logs, syslog only provides infos about "starting syslog, shutting syslog down",

what i found in errors.log is

Jul  9 22:27:43 bigdoto kernel: irq 16: nobody cared (try booting with the "irqpoll" option)

and this occurs several time, so gonna try booting with irqpoll options, but any other ideas are still appreciated!
