Hello slenkar,

Arch doesn't split out the development headers, so libxpm supplies all the files that libxpm and libxpm-dev would together, in some other distro (debian?)

Those libraries seem to be common X11 ones, so most if not all are available in the [extra] repository.

An incredibly useful utility is in community/pkgtools (install it with pacman, after enabling the community repository), has pkgfile, which can tell you that when you need '/usr/bin/g++', you should install the gcc package.
