After installation, no grub -- just a prompt

Hello,

I have a problem with my Zotac ION (w/ N330). After I've installed Arch and rebooted grub won't start up. It just shows me a prompt.

I have no clue what to do. I have tried to install via CD and USB drive same thing. I've tried i686 and x86_64, 2009.02 and 2008.06.
Have anyone here experienced the same kind of problem? Any suggestions?

Re: After installation, no grub -- just a prompt

Pls. read the installation from step to step in the wiki.

It wouldn't be so great distro, if it hadn't install a grub... Did you installed lilo, and search for grub ? what does it mean just a prompt ?

If you haven't grub you can install it from livecd/liveubs only sad

No, lilo is not installed. I can say it's installed because when I'm in a chrooted environment I can access grub. Maybe I used the wrong word for "prompt".. It's just a bold underscore (_) blinking..

No. Arch does not do anything when it should start GRUB. I am not really sure what you meant, but I am not able to choose between Arch and the fallback option.

I have no problems with the LIVECD, I am able to chroot and all that.
