.m3u links on emusic will not open or download when clicked

Trying to listen to the samples on emusic.com and nothing happens when I click a link. It shows the address of the .m3u file when I hover over it, and I can save that .m3u and listen to it on my computer, but nothing happens when I click it. I tried another site with .m3u links and it worked fine. Is there something about the emusic site that has changed, cause I used to browse there with no issues?

Running updated x86_64 with Shiretoko.

Tried clearing my cache, and I changed the handler for m3u files (mpegurl) in the file associations. Same result.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Scott

Anyone else use emusic on x86_64? Guess I thought it was a bit more popular among this crowd smile

Edit, hmm....maybe a problem with one of my extensions or 64 bit flash. Works fine on this x86 arch machine.

Yeah, having the same problem.  What's really odd is that if I middle click on the link, I can open the m3u in vlc, and it still doesn't work even though the playlist seems to be properly populated.

MIght be specific to ff 3.5?  I have Kubuntu Jaunty x86_64 also on the same hardware and it works, although it is still ff 3.0.x.

Same problem w/ x86_64 but using chromium, so its not firefox. I tried shift-rightclick but that doesn't work either. That's all I can contribute; hope we can find an answer. Anyone contacted emusic?
