hi.
my laptop used to suspend and resume without problem but after a recent update it no longer wakes up.
although the lights come on the screen stays blank (no backlight) and ctrl alt del does nothing.
i have a radeon x1400 using the open source radeon driver, and intel wifi using iwl3945.
i have tried running pm-suspend with various quirks but to no avail.
does anyone have any suggestions as to how i can debug this problem or better still fix it.
any advice would be helpful.
thanks,
adam.

Sadly I have no solution for you (I have the same problem on my laptop), but the bug page you want to be following is probably:
http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/15267
It seems to be a pretty common problem after a recent upgrade, but there is no solution as yet, lets hope someone gets to the bottom of it soon. You could try reverting to an earlier kernel or other packages where suspend used to work and see if you can recover the situation you had before.
