netwmpager request

Like the 'Subject' says it's more like a request rather then a programming question. Is there anyone kind enough willing to help me with a border for this pager please?
The thing is, it's written in C and I would do it myself, but I don't know anything about 'GUI programming' only 'console programming' if I can say so.

Config file doesn't help ... grid_color refers to the space between workspaces and win_border_color to what it says .. border for windows within workspaces ... therefor no border for netwmpager's window which I am looking for ...
