hwdetect not found

new installation

when i do hwdetect --show-net it says 'hwdetect not found'

I did pacman -S hwdetect but it said it wasnt found

That's most likely because you haven't done a -Sy yet.

I was trying to do hwdetect before going online but now Im online so I dont need it anymore, thanks
