I am running Arch Linux with KDE 4.2.4. KDE is installed from the official binary packages repository of Arch Linux.
I already have several power profiles. Several minutes ago I could change the power profile as usual. Suddenly a message appears, saying that:
>>> The profile "" has been selected, but it does not exist!
>>> Please check your PowerDevil configuration.
Then it is impossible to change the power profile. The power profile stays at a profile whose name is empty.
In addition, the above message will appear if I modify settings in the Power Management program.
Reboot is useless, as well as deleting the directory "~/.kde/" and "~/.kde4/".
How can I solve the problem?
Thanks!
I have reported it as a bug here:

That is exactly what is happening with KDE 4.3.1 still. Did you manage to solve it?
