[Solved] lost booting to graphical interphace

I've had arch for about a week and I really like it. However today I did some daily configuring and shut down the machine. Now when I opened it later today I see that I couldnt boot into graphical interphace! Arch just throws me straightly to command prompt sad (I am writing this from Ubuntu).

Here is my /var/log/Xorg.0.log:

Thanks for everyone in advance!

Edit: Well when I do "startxfce4", I get the graphical interphace, but there is no internet connection.

Edit 2: Well, "dhcpcd eth0" brings it smile. But I really wouldn't want to do those two commands upon every boot.

Re: [Solved] lost booting to graphical interphace

Can you log into your user account and do a manual startx from Arch?

Re: [Solved] lost booting to graphical interphace

Yes, but that only gives me a weird windows2k-like GNOME interphace (my default DE is GNOME) with no wallpaper (nautilus).

Re: [Solved] lost booting to graphical interphace

Yes, I had fully working system today before I booted.

Edit: here's my current malfunctioning GNOME (the panel is on it's default look, because I was hoping that moving all the settings (.*) from my user would solve this.. sad):
screenshoteeq.jpg

.. and here's a bigger one: http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/9660/screenshotqmz.jpg

Edit 2: Here's what happens when I launch "sudo nautilus" from Xfce :S:

[det@myhost ~]$ sudo nautilus

(nautilus:2239): Liboobs-WARNING **: Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: No such file or directory

** (nautilus:2239): WARNING **: Cannot connect to DBus Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: No such file or directory

process 2239: arguments to dbus_connection_send_with_reply_and_block() were incorrect, assertion "connection != NULL" failed in file dbus-connection.c line 3298.
This is normally a bug in some application using the D-Bus library.
D-Bus not built with -rdynamic so unable to print a backtrace
Aborted

Nautilus is a big part of GNOME so hopefully someone understands that error.. (trying reinstall of every package that has "dbus" on it's name)

Edit 3: nope, didn't help.. anyone got any suggestions sad?

Do you have hal in your daemons array?

No I didn't actually big_smile!! I just had "(syslog-ng network netfs crond)". Dunno why my rc.conf defaulted to that.. I believe that fixed the problem. I'll boot later today.. but hey, if that did indeed fix the problem: you're the man big_smile!
I myself would never had even thought about that.

Edit: yep, that fixed this. Thanks again!! wink -> marking as [Solved].
