Welcome to kde-snapshots repo.
These are development snapshots: unstable, unpredictable, sometimes unusable...if you are not a KDE developer, addicted to bleeding-edge software or insane, I recommend you to stay at the stable KDE from [extra]. Backup your ~/.kde4 before updating!!!!!.
If I still haven't discouraged you, here is pacman.conf entry:
#x86_64 users
[kde-snapshots]
Server=http://arch.morrigan.ch/kde-snapshots/os/x86_64/
[kde-snapshots-extra]
Server=http://arch.morrigan.ch/kde-snapshots-extra/os/x86_64/
(i686 packages are no longer available)
Put these entries ABOVE [extra] and [testing].
The repository is now maintained by Zolnierz.
Current KDE version: 4.7.x (4.8 devel)
If you find a bug, please report it to bugs.kde.org. Packages contain full debug symbols, so traces are very useful in most cases and it's also a reason why packages are so big in compare with those from [extra].
PKGBUILDs and build scripts (originally by Pierre Schmitz) are available in Gitorious on http://gitorious.org/kde-snapshots-repo .

This one is a snapshot repo, the subversion one is rolling every day.

so you ensure that it is more thable than the subversion one?

No, it does not mean it's more stable, however the snapshots are not done randomly, but when the code is in a consistent state when it compiles (mostly) and works (sometimes). And also the SVN repo provides you new packages every day (or more often? I dunno, never used it) - the snapshots are out every ~10 days.

Are there any differences between the upstream 4.3 version and the current 4.4 unstable version ? Different options or ...something

Not yet. KDE 4.3 is not even out yet, so you can't expect large obvious changes. Mostly there are bugfixes and improvements that did not make it into KDE 4.3.
Look on techbase.kde.org, you can find there more informations about the future plans for KDE 4.4 (the list is not finished yet). As those things will get implemented, you will see the differences between 4.3 and 4.4.
However my personal opinion is, that the difference between .3 and .4 will not be as big as was between 4.2 and 4.3. 4.3 is yet quite stable, good enough for common use and developers will focus on smaller things, details that were not so important and they were not submitted before 4.3 feature-freeze.

is it possible you can also include networkmanager-plasmoid in your repo?

OK, it should not be a problem, I'll try not to forget it :-)

Hi,
I added networkmanager-plasmoid-svn package to the repositories. It is an older build (svn rev. 958781), because the current doesn't compile.
I added it to my list of auto-rebuild packages and I'll keep watching for a new revision that will succesfully compile.

I suppose it has issues connecting to WPA networks but ya if you can keep it updated we can test it regularly;)
Thanks

No, there were no new snapshots since 4.3.61. I think it's because most of the things are currently broken or won't build. The snapshots sources are available here: ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/unstable/ . I look there every day in hope I'll see a folder named 4.3.62 :-)

While trying to update my system I've noticed there is some problem with dependencies caused by the new splitted KDE packages. For example Yakuake requires kdebase-konsole, but there is filesystem conflict with my kdebase. This conflict does not allow you to update the system, therefore I'll have to split my packages too to avoid it.
I'm working on it now, however it will take me day or two until I'll be able to upload current packages. Please be patient.

OK, it's done. I have updated the repo. The packages are splitted now. To have a complete installation, I recommend uninstalling KDE first and reinstalling it again (pacman -Sy kde) and then you can update your system.
They are based on current KDE 4.3 PKGBUILDs including support for "any" architecture.

Hi,
I finally uploaded new snapshot - 4.3.63. Sorry for the delay, I was too busy and there were also some problems about kdepim.
kdebindings-smoke, kdebindings-python, kdepim-kontactinterfaces, kdepim-kaddressbook and kdepim-kontactplugins were not updated, but the old versions should work.
Enjoy :-)

Hi,
I uploaded 4.3.65. Sorry for missing 4.3.64 :-) This snapshot is really cool, because everything has built. Except of kdebindings (as usual), so expect them later.
