Need mplayer-mt / ffmpeg-mt SVN/GIT, but can't connect to any.

Stated in the topic, I can't connect to any SVN trunks or GIT's, and this is because the only internet connection I have is at an office about 1 hour away from any city. I live here as well but the staff doesn't know anything about the firewalls or anything technical about their connection. Apparently the guy who maintains everything works even further away and is always away or busy as he works for the State.

    So, the problem is that everytime I try to download a package from the AUR that uses GIT or SVN it fails to connect, even ABS (which isn't what I'm going into right now). So, my question is; is there anyway I can download a .. snapshot or checkout or something of the newest packages for FFMPEG-MT or MPlayer-MT? The only reason I'm asking is because the regular MPlayer and ffmpeg from 'extra' doesn't seem to have the MultiThread function available (unless I'm mistaken or completely missing something) and basically every AUR build for these are SVN or GIT.  So far, I've been able to download a tar.gz SVN checkout of MPlayer but it's not the MultiThreaded one, and every attempt to add subtitles fonts to it (multiple methods, here) it always says it doesn't look like a bitmap font, which it is.. ttf-dejavu, among others.

    As it stands, I'm still left with the hanging problem of not being able to -obtain- the actual packages from SVN or GIT -- the ones I need -- so I'm left with regular ffmpeg and regular mplayer from 'extra'. hmm  This probably doesn't sound like a big deal or anything but since I can't connect to ABS or download the sources of the SVN / GIT packages I can't really get the one with MultiThread capabilities, I don't think. I could be wrong? I know I was able to connect (on my same laptop) to a GIT or SVN when I was living somewhere else, so I know it's not my laptops fault, per sey, just that I'm behind some firewall or something that's not letting me connect.

    The main thing is, if there's no way anyone knows for me to connect to a SVN or GIT from behind some unknown firewall and without having my own internet connection / proxy elsewhere, I'm wondering if there's a place online that has the snapshots or checkouts of MPlayer-MultiThreaded and ffmpeg-MultiThreaded? I did some forum and google searches but I'm at a dead end. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. I'll be online until about 4PM today as my internet time is limited. I'm only able to get on 2 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday). My location is becoming cumbersome!

Re: Need mplayer-mt / ffmpeg-mt SVN/GIT, but can't connect to any.

Got off work early today. Did a lot of digging and found

:: mplayer-svn-mt.tar.bz2
link :: http://just.mooo.com/mplayer-svn-mt.tar.bz2
:: size = 11.9MB

:: ffmpeg-mt.tar.gz
link :: http://src.chromium.org/viewvc/chrome/t … -mt.tar.gz
:: size = 3.0MB

:: mplayer-checkout-snapshot.tar.bz2
link :: http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/release … ot.tar.bz2
:: size = 14.5MB

:: ffmpeg-checkout-snapshot.tar.bz2
link :: http://ffmpeg.org/releases/ffmpeg-check … ot.tar.bz2
:: size = 5.2MB

I'm going to experiment with each package and if I get a working result I'll reinform anyone else who has the SVN/GIT connection problems and still want MPlayer-MT  and ffmpeg-MT.  I'll hopefully be back next Tuesday.
Allright.
