lost sound, out of ideas [fixed]
Hi,
I thought I'd share my latest fumble with you. :oops:
I just bought new speakers and set them up. At the same time I did pacman -Syu. Afterwards the sound didn't work. I tried my old headphones and they didn't work either.
I headed to the forums and checked whether there had been any upgrade related problems. I checked my configs. Everything was fine but no sound.
I had already given up hope and was going to post a plea for help when realisation hit me. I checked again the cable and there it was, plugged into the line in slot! :oops: 
So, the moral of this story is that when you've lost all your hope check the stupidest thing you can think of..
