most wanted kernel parameters

after a discussion with a colleague about linux and The Kernel, we had a nice list of the most wanted kernel parameters:

newbie=[on|off]
... so that the kernel printf's in a language, a newbie understands

windows_user=[on|off]
... in case the user expects the machine to crash from time to time, here the flag to enable random crashing (note: alias to this feature is: random_panicking=[on|off] )

underlying="Your secret message to be send underlying"
... e.g. the message "i'm thirsty" displayed very quickly (so that the user do not realize) in short intervalles will cause the user to really think: "i'm thirsty"

1984=[on|more_on|very_enabled|yes]
... (default=on) ... translates any I/O to newspeak, logs anything and sends it to bb

feel free to add more wanted kernel parameters to this thread  :twisted:  smile

encrypt_debug_messages=[on|off]
This feature encrypts all debug information with a random relatime generated key that is not stored anywhere. This makes the system look more professional and evolved.

O(1/n) sheduler=[on,off]
This sheduler works faster when the number of running processes increases. Allows you to do fast parallel computing on regular uniprocessor machine

reiser2010 filesystem support=[on,off]
This new filesystem from namesys uses a completely novel flying trees data structure which enables you to store over 1000000 TB of data without a harddisk!

disable_uncommented_code=[on,off]
This option is intended specifically for university computer science professors.
If you don't know what a comment is, you should probably say "off".

register_compression=[on,off]
This option enables register-level compression saving about 50% of register space. It enables you to run AMD-64 applications on regular x86.
