hebrew fonts

hi archers,

i just updated my system which wasnt been updated for a long time (local repository problem), and once i've booted - all my hebrew fonts now look like shit... :? i know thats the default behavior for hebrew (ie, crummy fonts), but i didn't have that problem prior to the update...

i've read on hebrew forums that for proper hebrew fonts one should install culmus fonts - i prefer not doing so since i never installed them before and yet my hebrew was perfect.

any ideas?
tnx.

Re: hebrew fonts

maybe the update nuked your /etc/fonts/local.conf
your old should be saved as .pacsave in that case,

arch + gentoo + initng + python = enlisy

Re: hebrew fonts

damn I'm good!!!
add it as "NoUpgrade" in pacman.conf so it won't happen again,

arch + gentoo + initng + python = enlisy
