[Request] NUT - Network UTility

Hi!
I use KDEmod and I am struggling to find a working solution for managing my connections. The networkmanager plasmoid is quite unstable and with WICD I'm unable to connect to ad-hoc networks.

From some feedback (gentoo users) it seems to work well and it's written in QT4. Is someone able to write a PKGBUILD for it (I'm still quite a noob, sorry!)? On the site I linked it seems that someone has already tried it, without much success. Maybe someone can solve these problems?
