I would like to be able to read my electronic ID card and use its certificate to sign document and mail.
Any help on that matter would be useful. There is an application provided by the Fedict. Unfortunately Arch linux is not supported. Now I am not even sure if I need a specific driver to be able to read the card from my usb reader (ACS) ...
My best option might be to install another distro in a virtual "space". What do you think ?
Thanks for any help.

Fedict (whoever they are) may not support Arch officially, but if the app works on other distros, it might work on Arch also. If it's a rpm or a deb, there are tools available to unpack them. You can use the appropriate tool in a PKGBUILD to create an Arch package.
