HELP! spring can not run!

Every time i run the spring, it would be no response when it loaded to the "Finalizing..." step. Have anyone meet this before? I'm using ATI X1400 Mobility with xf86-video-ati 6.12.2-2 and xserver 1.6.2

Did you try with ati binary driver, with 3d acceleration too ? Can it work on other distribution? Which kernel do you use, at least stable release ? Do you have any problem with other games too, like Unreal T., etc. ?
