I am happy user of PCmanFM but from time to time I need two panel style (a.k.a "commander" or "orthogonal") file manager. I am for one that share bookmark with pcmanfm (pcmanfm uses GTK bookmarks from .gtk-bookmarks ) and better also file type applications settings. I tried gnome-commander, gentoo, emelfm2, tuxcommander even xfe ... but neither shares bookmarks.

Hello stabele!
Any web based multi-user file manager ?

Sorry, I don't understand - web based multi-user file manager ??? You are joking, right? Or maybe there is a confusion - I am speaking about PCmaFM bookmarks (= common paths list).

Perhaps you should give muCommander a shot.

Why don't you permanently switch to a two-panel filemanager? I personally like emelfm2 a lot, because it's extreme configurability. I don't use bookmarks a lot, so.

Well, I used to two panel manager only and it was Total Commander which I miss on Linux a lot (please, don't flame me to the death). PCmanFM is just great for simple tasks and contrary to emelfm2 it has tabs, easily mounts devices even without line in fstab (usb sticks...) and shares settings (bookmarks, default apps...) with GTK apps which suits my lazy nature. But yes, emelfm2 is now my choice for two pannel file manager too. I would use Krusader but it is resource-eater and needs whole KDE base which does not fit into my light Openbox desktop.
