Using video on Kopete?

Hi,
I realize this is a REDICULASLY stuipid question but here goes: My Kopete recognises my camera. However I can't find the button to start a video chat with someone with MSN. How does one start a video chat? As in where to click? I feel like I should've found it but I can't...

Same problem here. It seems to be a very common bug...

Anyone found some kind of solution ?

Which IM protocol are you trying to use it over? I believe it's only an option on Yahoo and maybe one other. Not AIM.

If you want msn videochat = amsn
If you want yahoo videochat = gyachi

Sadly Kopete 4.3 does not support webcam.

If so why it has video settings in the preferences ? And it works too

I've got the same issue... I swear it "used" to work with yahoo and msn....

It is annoying that Kopete is so much feature incomplete

I'm not sure, but I think I read somewhere that Microsoft recently changed the MSN prococoll, so no client is supporting videochat on MSN atm. But that's only a guess.
