Toronto / Batman / Arch Wallpaper

the original image had a crunchbang logo, I just changed it to an Arch one.
I hope some people can enjoy this:

Re: Toronto / Batman / Arch Wallpaper

Actually, as with the original bat-signal you should've tilted/rotated the arch logo a bit in order to get it to look completely right, other than that it looks really cool big_smile

I tried that, but imo it didn't look as good:

Re: Toronto / Batman / Arch Wallpaper

Probably doesn't look correct due to the slight mistake in the "rotation".  Look at the two lower points of the triangle.  See how the left point is much closer to the edge of the circle than the right?  So the off-center-ness immediately catches the eye.

The transform requires a squish and a skew.  The bat signal was round, but projected at an upwards angle onto a vertical cloud face.  Normally this would stretch the vertical axis, but somehow it magically squishes the vertical into the traditional oval.   Since the viewer is off axis, a bit of skew is required.  see http://kmkeen.com/tmp/arch_signal.png
