Amarok 2.1.1 broken?
Hello Forum,
I just updated my kde to 4.3 and so amarok to 2.1.1.
Now after a reboot my amarok does not play any audio files at all. I cannot even move a audio file or a playlist to the playlist box which remains empty. Any ideas why this happens?

you need to install the correct gstreamer plugins for the audio you are trying to play. "pacman -S gstreamer0.10-plugins"

If you want to use the xine backend instead install phonon-xine.

Thanks for your reply.
"pacman -S gstreamer0.10-plugins" was indeed missing. QT now uses gstreames as default output. Strange though that amarok did not even allow adding files to the playlist.
