SCIM won't build from ABS

Hi,
I'm trying to get SCIM from ABS (which is 1.4.9-1) to build
because after recent Xorg upgrade (1.6.3), the trial of starting scim will get this error message:

Unable to load x11 module

so I figure there's a need to rebuild scim, but when doing so, compilation also went wrong stating:

ltdl.cpp:3376: error: invalid convertion from "const char*" to "char*"

So I'm forced to use ibus for the time being. Is there anyone else encountering the same, or is it just me?

That error is a very common one caused by using GCC 4.4. The package needs a patch, either an update from the developers of it or a patch Arch applies to keep it building.

Hello b4283!

Yeah, Ranguvar has right, but it seems as a simple sed like patch in the desired line.
